Remember: Your major affects the GPA and classes you need to be a strong applicant.
What You Can Do:
- Explore majors that match your interests
- Check if your major is open for the term you want (some admit only for fall)
- Choose your first‑choice major
- Add a second‑choice major if you want (this does not affect your first choice)

Know What Your Major Requires

What You Can Do:
- Open the Transfer Handbook and search by college or major to see the recommended GPA and coursework
- Note that Illinois includes all grades from transferable classes
- Remember that grade replacement or forgiveness from other schools does not apply
