International Requirements
These are the additional requirements needed if you’re applying as an international student.
English Proficiency
We require all students, regardless of citizenship, permanent residency, or curriculum type, to demonstrate English proficiency.
First-Year Applicants
If you did not complete Grades 10–12 in an approved English‑speaking country, you must submit one of the following test scores:
- ACT*
- SAT*
- TOEFL
- IELTS
- Duolingo English Test
Scores must be from tests taken within two years of your intended entry term. This requirement cannot be waived.
* If you choose to have your SAT/ACT considered, it will be used for all aspects of review and cannot just be sent to fulfill English proficiency.
Transfer Applicants
Transfer applicants must meet one of our listed conditions to satisfy the minimum English proficiency requirement.
If you submit TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test scores…
- Report your highest overall score and highest sub‑scores, regardless of test date. Don’t use MyBest for TOEFL.
- Scores must be taken within two years of your enrollment date.

- We’ll only need official scores if you enroll.
